I'm not sure, but I think a Ford rear end will work. I know that on my MGA the PO had fitted aftermarket Mustang wheels and they fit fine. Don't trust me, but I think it should work, back me up anyo

I am currently using the standard 1800 MGB rear axle which I believe has a crown wheel and pinion ratio of 3.9:1. Unfortunately this does not match the installed Rover V8 engine and gearbox which is
