John Deikis - Couldn't agree more. Can't agree with John Carey though. I've only ever broken 1 diff in racing and that diff was suspect *and* we use standing starts (5000rpm, drop the clutch and laun

Last I heard, you don't use LSD. (which is very questionable). If you do, all I'm saying is that you get a much better diff with disk brakes using the RX7 diff. for a LOT less money than any single

Never found the need. If you set the car up well (stiff (esp. at the front), plenty of suspension droop at the rear, no rear sway bar), and use an appropriate driving style ( a) don't brake too late

Racing Spridget Diff. is an Oxymoron. Race they might, but not for long. The RX7 diff conversion is 4:10, works great, has hardened axels, LSD, AND rear disk brakes. John Carey Bugeye Gallery, diffs,

IMHO I think it would be the same as running a 4.11 rear from a Hudson Kent Anybody have an opinion on running a 4.11 rear (originally fitted to the Nash Metropolitan)? /// unsubscribe/change address

...'course, another way to look at it is that this logic can apply to most mechanical components of old Brit racers. And the conclusion would be, why not just race the RX7 rear end....with the Rx7 at

[Deikis, John] Right! Don't matter to me. Car came out of the showroom with the 3.9 so I run a 3.9. But on short tracks, it's too high. Your comments about tire diameters remind me that my question
