You neglected to tell Larry how to pull the drain plug to create the dry sump! Could you try to be a LITTLE helpful? The theory behind dry-sumping is that all of that oil sloshing around in the sump

That was not inadvertant, Guy, the idea is to be sucking faster than the oil is arriving. As Keith indicated, using the pump to generate a vacuum in the sump beats the heck out of wasting manifold v
