I wrapped my headers. It cuts down on heat in the engine compartment some. I'm sure if the header pipes were over-wrapped almost all heat from this source would be passed on to the tailpipe. However

Ulix, I had my Maniflow LCB Jet-hot coated last year for $150. It is their silver "chrome" which is new, they also do other colors. I don't really notice a drop in temp, but they look like I just put

Anybody interested in some serious insulation, let me know. Aircraft usage stuff, get a 300 degree temp difference in 3/8 inch thickness. it ain't cheap. _____________________________________________
