My 1980 B has a small clip holding in the switch, with some wire (a twist-tie, maybe) wrapped from one one side of the clip to the other to hold the clip tight. I don't know how much of it is origina

The 1980 B's had a retaining clip on the radiator to hold the sender in place. This was the only year that had the clip. There is a Jag equal to the retaining rubber that has a longer tube section,
