Hi All!! Well, hopefully I'm nearing the end of the front suspension rebuild on the Sprite. However, I need a few tips... 1) How critical is it that the kingpin cotter pin be driven all the way thru?

Allignment can be done "to run" by using a long straight edge to span from back tire to front. Raise it up about 5" so it contacts both sidewalls of both tires. Move it from left to right until each

You are talking about the wedge shaped pin right? Do you still have an old one? Compare the new to the old. It almost seems that I remember that I had the same problem and eventually determined that

When I rebuilt my front suspension, I happen to have 2- new sets of pins to the king pins to the lower 'pivot screw/pin'. one set fit, and the other would only go about half way in. - Bryan
