Back at the wisdom well: Is there anyone out there with experience at flat towing an MGB? The process would be to remove the front RB and bolt the brackets of the hitch to the plates that the RB norm

My 2 cents worth: I towed 2 MGB's (one CBB and one RBB) around 175 miles on a trailer. I was able to rent a wood sided trailer for $60 and pulled the MG up with a come-a-long (drove the second B up),

Yo Bud, We're gonna find out soon. I'm going to tow my B to New England from TX so as to tool around and see autumn leaves. Gonna have a metal shop fabricate a hitch such as you described for my towb

There is no home. Why not just disconnect the four bolts at the rear of driveshaft and strap it up. I have heard of many many flat tow trips with drive shaft left connected "with out incident" and on

Gotta agree with David on this. I towed the Midget from WY to AR and AR to PA w/ the front on a trailer and the rear on the ground. about 10 min at start and stop each to unbolt and bolt the drivesh

I second that. A Few friends of mine were once trying to get a car started, (non LBC). we decided to tow it around a parking lot to try to start it. The transmission fluid went to the bottom of the r

I'll answer that, David: I'm going to toe the car behind a class "C" motorhome. I'm going to be staying in campgrounds once I get east of the Mississippi. Not all campgrounds have pull-through spaces

What equipment? All you need is 1 bottle jack, one jack stand. two box end wrenches, (all of which can be carried in the trunk of the B),and a flat place to work. Using one bottle jack on one side of

Don't get carried away. Facts are that you and other people who haven't flat towed a B with the driveshaft connected are the ones who are saying it can't be safely done, while those who have done it
