As I recall you said this is an aluminum flywheel. The big concern I have with them is that they enable a bit more movement than steel--softer, easier to flex, etc.. I've had two of them come adrift.

Current production of Fidanza flywheels for TR's are quite nice. If this is a flywheel for some other car, hit delete. The Fidanza on my TR4 is about four seasons old, about 25 events. It is not flat

Not being at the shop to measure the tail ends of cranks, I can say without a doubt maybe. I can't remember if the earlier, flatter TR6 flywheel will bolt right on a later (Mark 2 or 3) GT6 or if the

There were actually two different configurations of crank and flywheel used on the TR-6. One will work on the GT-6, the other will not as it will have no clearance of the back plate. I found this out

I believe that they are cast iron. that is what they machine like. We just had a batch of aluminum flywheels made. They weigh about 12 lbs. with the bolt on ring gear. Regards, Greg Solow

I'm not sure this will be of value to anyone but, I installed a Tilton aluminum flywheel in my TR-6. The TR-250 and early TR-6's had 24 lb. flywheels. The late TR-6's weighed in at 32 lbs.! The Tilto

The steel plate flywheel I bought didn't need any modifications, and I'll bet it's nearly as light as an alloy one and a lot stronger.
