As you stated...lots of TR6s out there with lots of frames that aren't so good, but they are restorable. There are actually shops out there that specialize in TRiumph TR frames. Pretty sure they can

I believe you will find that there are several suppliers for frame repair sections. No need to replace the whole frame in most cases, just the most rot-prone areas. Much more economical that buildin

Steven--So far as the frame at the transmission goes, I believe the '69 and the '74 to be the same. You shouldn't have to move the support bracket, as the OD unit just takes the place of the tail pie

The manual transmission and the overdrive to connect differently at the rear of the transmission. The TR6 actually has a two piece bracket that the non overdrive bracket bolts on to. If you look at
