Has anyone put a front fiberglass spoiler on a late model RB Midget ??? Also, I have replaced the rear springs, bushings, Shocks(with Spax), and all hardware. The motor was also totally rebuilt (bunc

Sorry... don't recall what year Spridget we're talking about here... but if 1/2 elliptic car, torque steer is usually a sign of a loose U-bolt on the rear axle. That will cause "torque steer". WST

A spoiler will have no effect on this. Sounds like something very basic wrong with the rear suspension. Loose/bad u-bolt? shackle? broken leaf in the spring? front spring mount problem? Check it out

If I were you I would check the rear suspension, something is loose or worn. It sounds to me like your rear axle is walking on acceleration and returns to its normal position on deceleration. Dave Fo

Try tightening the u-bolts that attach the axle to the springs. I believe that you will find them loose. This is a common problem. I believe that I used 40 lbs. of torque when I tighten the u-bolts,
