Anyone out there experience a fairly loud clunking noise coming mostly from the Rt front corner when initially lightly applying the brakes. Only occurs after driving for awhile and everything is warm

Just a possibility but have you checked the wheel splines? A fellow BJ8 owner chased the same type of noise for months before finally discovering that the splines were the problems. Marion S. Brantl

Hello Gary, May I respectfully suggest that you at least check for wear not only the wheel hub splines but also the internal splines in your Rudge hubs on your wheels. This is especially true with we

So far I've gotten 3 replies telling me to check the hub and wheel splines which I will do carefully. Wheels only have 6k miles on them but hubs are original. I will jack up car apply brakes and chec

whenever you put new wheels on a healey, you should make sure the hubs are new too. With this, they will last a lifetime. Another thing to check is to make sure the wheel bearings are properly shimm
