I had mothballs in the MGB once in a clean jar, it didn't seem to slow down the mice much -- in fact they ate the label right off of the open jar of mothballs. Also, Decon attracts mice, so Do Not pu

I'm getting ready to install the new carpeting into my 'B, but it will sit in a garage with a rodent problem. My father and I have been putting out a fresh tray of D-Con since I've been home with no

Too bad, because a big, mean cat would probably be a great "Final = Solution" for those rodents. Maybe a Rat Terrier, Beagle or Dachshund? = hehe Sounds like you have an ecological problem that pois

Hi Mike, Go with the mothballs, cedar chips, electronic repellers, cat balls--whatever it takes. D-con is supposed to attract the critters. Its active ingredient is warfarin, the blood anticoagulant

I've heard of some successes with mothballs. Won't kill them, but they don't like the smell and, hopefully, decide to nest somewhere else. Cats are, by far, the best solution. -NORY Don't assume that

I concur with Dan that this is a food chain problem. Rat Terriers can be very effective but high maintenance. A tribe of mean cats should convince these rodents to stay on your neighbor's side :-) Pe

We had a similar problem at Darlin's garage site. Actually been fighting the problem for several years. Bummer... I use Just One Bite. Works faster than D-Con... several days, as opposed to weeks. I

Is the decon stuff a poison? If so, It sounds like it's working. After a rat eats the bait they get sick and seek out water. That may explain why your neighbor is finding dead ones in his pond. Ultra
