First thing that comes to mind is to disconnect the ground wire at the manual switch in the trunk. It grounds out the ignition system so there is no spark. A Schultz BJ8

I'd start at the input side of the coil. If there is not 12V there you have a power supply issue. Could be an ignition switch, blown fuse etc. Just work back upstream until you find the voltage brea

I just went through this with a BT7. Found the HT lead from the coil had lost its contact with the coil contact screw. Also found points corroded. Replaced the above and got spark at the points but w

Problem resolved. Several had suggested disconnecting the wire form the distributor to the battery switch-that seemed like the easiest place to start. I did that last night and started it right up. T
