Has anyone ever fabricated something to fix the alignment problem between the heater and AC box? Is there a solution available from one of the suppliers or is the answer some cardboard and duct tape?

I did not feel like going through the problems of relocating the box, so I made a connector from a couple of pieces of sheet aluminum and some flexible dryer ducting. ALan Coleman

I did the same thing. I couldn't get Terry's brackets to work and I didn't like the misalignment of the defroster. I think the fabricated ducting is a better way to go. Marvin

I cut some pieces of lexan and siliconed it. I then wrapped the entire thing with some heat shield insulation.... seems to work a lot better than before Mike
