no the use ChrisMy favorit method is a few good(not damaging, but not love taps) whacks with a ball peen hammer. This will tend to jar or shock the seized threads, and allow removal by normal method

Chris, it's a taper (pipe) thread, and sometimes people do crank them down unholy tight. You could try a little heat on it, but I don't think you'll get it hot enough to do any good without taking t
