- Peter - I just had K&Ns installed in my TR6 - same thing - we ended up using a thinner O-ring on one side to get the housing to mate and to not compress the filter. Dennis

- Tim, Use a cleaner such as "409" to remove the road grease and grime, flush with water, GENTLY (10-15 psi) blow dry from the inside out, and re-oil with mineral oil (drug store item). Charlie B.

- At the bike shops, we use gasoline or parts wash solvent and wash it out and then blow it out with shop air. work from the inside to the outside (reverse the direction the air flowed into the unit).
