My car had wire wheels when I got it. I just replaced all four hubs and the wheels with new centerlock alloy wheels. My 185x70R14 tires are rubbing on the left rear outer fender on left turns and bum

My 'road' tyres are now 205/60R14 and they rub on the INSIDE of the wheel arch when really pushed and only touched the OUTSIDE if bucking and weaving through a dip on a 90 degree corner - we have one

Not hard at all. Going straight and smooth at 45 mph it will rub lightly. Any left turn over about 45 degree over 20mph and it rubs hard. I just went and measured the distance from my tire to the fen

A lot harder to see because the photos are not as close up or on the same angle, but you should be able to see a significant difference a year or so later on rostyles (as compared to the wire wheels
