There are some super products that can make those leather seats look like new (unless they're cracked all the way through). Go to a good paint / trim supplier where you can buy professional products

As for your last question......... I have never used them, but I have seen pictures of before and after on restoring old leather. It was in a recent English car magazine article. The improvement look
