first place I'd check is the 1/2" heater hose from heater valve back to the heater box on the firewall,or the heater return hose going back to front of block. Martin

I would check the hoses to the heater box as they are close to the windshield. If the water pump is leaking, it should be pretty easy to check as there is a weep hole on the pump where the shaft runs

If it is that bad I would have thought you *must* be able to see where it is coming from by running the engine and looking round. Either that or copious white smoke out of the exhaust if it is a head
