Not so novice. Offset is the difference between the measurement from the wheel flange to the outside rim and inside rim. Its easier to talk in terms of back space. John

Dear Listers, On the custom wheel for MGB subject. I have found that the stock spec Datsun 280Z 14"wheel is the ideal width and offset for the B. Painted silver, they even look pretty correct. I know

We have used pressed steel wheels from Ford Mustang II for MGB spares. They bolt right up and are readily available on the used and salvage market. Regards, David Darby
