I think one of the issues is the rim width. The 15" rim would allow you to install a 60 series up to about a 195 width. A tire if this size I believe requires a minimum of 5.5" width rim. Hi List: I

In no way are they a fit problem. Note the original size for the MGB is a 4.5 inch rim. Mind you, I am not autocrossing with this setup but several thousand miles each year and not a problem. Carl Fr

I didn't say it was a fit problem, I was merely pointing out that it did not match either the stock MGB size, the "heavy duty" MGB size, or the MGC size, which led me to doubt that they were intended
