There is a chap here in Canada that has a few (10 - think) MGCs. Personally I have always been wary of the heavy lump in the front. I cannot see how one could avoid the problems associated with this

In it's day the MGC was badly trounced by the motoring press because it wasn't an MGB with more power. Even in completely original condition the car was not an evil monster, but did not compare well

I thought the same and so did a friend of mine that has a MGB V8. He now owns a C roadster. He likes driving the C on long trips like I do. No question his V8 is fast but if the C is set up right it
