Yes, the 165 x 15 are always an option. I wanted to find suitably rated tires, though. This particular MGC tops out around 130 mph, and while the chances of doing much high speed work is small, I hat

I'm using 185X65 R15 speed rated Pirelli on 5.5 wires. I got them last spring and the place said they were fairly common. Jim 69C 70B -- WSpohn4@aol.com wrote: /// or try http://www.team.net/cgi-bin

Hey everyone, My 69 C currently has 165/15s mounted on 72 spoke wires. I believe they are 5's. I picked up a set of Michelin 195/65 R15's. Will these fit in the wheel wells ok or will they be to fat?

195/60 VR15's fit my B. I was told by British Wire Wheel the 195/65 VR15's would fit as well. Larry Hoy, Denver, CO USA 1970 MGB Daily Driver ~ 1967 MGB Vintage Racer ~ 1969 MGB Undergoing V8 convers

I'm running 195's on my 68 MGC. They are mounted on 15x7" Chevy rims (chrome smoothies), and there is plenty of room. I am going to back down to a 6" rim (Ralley wheels) when I replace the tires at t

Ok, This has probably been through the mill many times before, but haven't seen it. I have a 69 MGC/GT, 15" standard painted wire wheels. What's the best size-brand tires to put on it before INDY 96?

Dave, I found, IMHO, that the most reasonable, commonly available decent tire for my 68 MGC was a 165/15 Michelen XZX. Its only "S" rated, but I don,t plan on doing over 112 mph anyway. They fill th
