- If, indeed, the car carrier was high-centered on the tracks as he claimed, I'm afraid that the railroad won't have a prayer of collecting from him. They are responsible for the crossing approaches. O

- It is amazing the no one was killed. This accident was literally a few hundred feet from the Amtrack passenger loading platform for the Ventura Fairgrounds. You can see some of the green people fence
