- A bit off the subject, but I have discovered that when the battery on my Makita drill will no longer take a charge, toss it in the freezer for a few hours and it works like new ! I've done this twice

- Most of these batteries are NiCads and they develop "memory" when not fully discharged before charging. Completely discharging (like really discharging - running them drill overnight after the batter
