Hey List People, It is me again! I wanted to share with you the fun I had yesterday. I have never adjusted SUs before and it took me about 1 hour to feel that i had it close to being right. I went by

Chris, is it possible you "adjusted the jets all the way in" (as you say), rather then just adjusting them so that the top of the jet is flush with the carb bottom? The "start point" is that the top

Peter, Sounds right to me, and isn't 2 1/2 turns 15 flats? I use 10 flats or 1 3/4 turns as my base line. Crash carbs.

Actually, I use 13. It's a matter of preference, I think. Now, there's a good thread (there's that hated word again). Q. How many flats do you use to reach a baseline for adjusting SU jets? Peter
