The car had a monstrous amount of shake before any of this was started. The repairs/mods were made because those areas were shot...even the wheels were bent. This car was the classic case of "it work

My V8 was plagued with a cyclic wobble for the life of a particular set of front tyres. Repeated balancing didn't cure it, but balancing on the stud holes rather than the centre hole improved matters
