- First, congrats. I am sure you will receive quite a few helpful responses from the list. PI refers to Petrol Injection. Since you said you have carbs I am not sure why the badge would be on the car.

- that's a very early 73 american spec car, built in late 1972, perhaps december. CF 1U was built on September 11 1972; CF 4029U was built on Jan 2, 1973, according to Piggott's Origianl Triumph Tr. PI
