Thanks, that was my thought. I moved the switch from under the dash (after market PO set up) to the gear shift knob. I had good success with it for a while but have fussed with the knob several time

I used 20w50 GTX and will try to check the gear shift switch for electricity and continuity. I hope that's what it is, cause I don't feel like draining the tranny again. It is such a pain filling it

From what you said on Sunday, I suspect that the problem is in that switch or in its wiring. "Gently twisted top of knob" and it disengaged. Look for a strand of wire that has escaped the insulation
