17606's filler cap was painted body color (Leaf Green) as original. The outside is obviously painted, but so is the inside. The original DuPont Dulux was tough stuff as my new paint peeled from the

Frank, It's a miracle, finally had to happen. I use a flip top cap from a TR6 that just happened to slip into the pocket of my coveralls at pick-n-pull. At least now we can tell our cars apart. Crash
