Andy, The only way I've ever removed one was with a large punch, stuck in the hole and prised sideways until it popped out...o'couse that was on fords and chebbys... RH ..You really only need two too

I used to pack mine with grease and then use the imput shaft to pressure it out from behind.... but often found that the bearing was so wore out the grease would slide past the imput shaft... now I h
