Has anyone wired up a push button starter on their Spit before? Is it safe to put a push button on the white wire (top fuse, ignition) and just have that going through the push button to the starter

Will the twin webers be going through a compressor? Webers have have cold start units that require cables, but I understand they are as useful as teats on a boar. Larry

Just be careful with your seletion of push buttons. You're only activating a relay with the solenoid wire, so it's not 60+ amps going through the pushbutton, but starter buttons are still rated at a
