Some have concerns over alu mounts - as if you hit the wheels on a kerb etc you can kill your rack in one go... so they can be somewhat lethal - depends if you're likely to do that. I think I am goi

I have both poly and aluminum rack mounts on two separate cars. I personally prefer the aluminum mounts as they have a good solid feel and because I had an early set of poly mounts wear out relativel
