Spitted Ones, Since it has been over 25 years since I last replaced the rear trunnions, can anyone tell me whether or not the plastic pieces should just slide in? Or are they hard to insert. I put on

I assume that you are talking about the plastic trunnion bushings... I have found they could always be inserted by hand, but you had to push pretty hard. Possibly you got front and rear bushings mixe

I used a silicone spray on the bushing and then, with a bit of effort, pushed them in by hand. Like Doug said, check the part # and make sure you are putting the right one in the hole. --Original Mes

Spitted Ones, An update to my question about the trunnions from last week. I ordered a new Rear Trunnion Kit last weekm and then proceeded to take my faithful Dremel tool (actually) the Black & Decke
