When I restored my TR3, I just pealed the vinyl off of the sheet metal. Mine wasn't as well glued as yours must be! Then I cleaned the dash with acetone/MEK, etc. to remove the glue, painted it and

In case some don't know, the later TR3A dashes were covered a lot differently than the earlier ones were. Early ones were just vinyl and glue, as Jim noted they peel apart fairly easily. The later o
