be very carefull with just choosing any shop via advertisements! quality and price are not something that go hand in hand when shopping for a place to do stuff like this. go to the local hot rod shop

I just got mine re-cored by the radiator shop that was recommended by the local hot rod shop. It was $175, and they say it will be much better than new. I'm still welding, so It'll be awhile before

Thanks for the helpful replies on this. You guys are great. The thing`s been repaired twice before, most recently 15 years ago. Last night I made a stab at soldering what I think was the hole myself.
