Rarely were Whitworth fasteners used on automotive products. However, BSF fasteners (fine thread) were used on many MGs up to about 1954. After that, UNF fasteners were used. These are very close in

Both.....at least on the SU carbs, you will find some Whitworth fasteners. On the B, most everything else seems (I'll be a DPO one day) to be SAE. I can't wait to graduate and get shop equipment.....
