If anything I would expect the atomisation of the fuel to be way superior on a DCOE than the SU because the fuel and air have already been mixed before it comes into the main airflow through the carb

I have a pair of 1 1/4" SU's marked AUC870 and AUC871. Are they for a Sprite? If not, what are they for? Also, I can't find a vacuum port for the distributor on them. Shouldn't there be a port right

you apparently have a mismatched set of carbs. as one has a "poppet" valve and one does not. Stop wasting your time with these. No good can come of their use on your motor as they're mis-matched by

My listing shows: AUC 870 (F or R) was a H4 carb fitted to a 1957 -1962 Riley 1.5. Standard needles used were: HA(weak) AD (standard) AR (rich) The same listing shows: AUC 871 (F and R) was a HD8 fit
