I could be wrong, but from all the pictures I've seen the Acclaim looks like an 80-82 Civic 4 dr rather than the Accord. General specs I've seen in Triumph World mention a 1300 cc engine. These were

You are correct that the Triumph Acclaim was _not_ an Accord; it was what is marketed in the US as a Civic. I understand they call the car a Ballade in Japan. The Acclaim only came as a 4-door. When

The 'Tliump Accraim' was to all intents and purposes a Honda Ballade. Had a few sheet metalwork differences, 1300 Honda lump and they made about 300,000 of them in Oxford - of all places, at Sacred C
