- I removed the rotted seatcovers from my TR3A restoration project seats (a gas mask job). The springs are sound in the front 2/34rds, but need repair in the rear portion where they were most weighted

- I dont know how bad the springs that you have are but I cut blocks of soft foam ( a little stiff) and slid them into the springs .The springs act as locators for the foam blocks which now support you
