- i would not accept having my piston skirts knurled! it is a short term fix for a long term problem. the knurling will effectivly raise metal up and reduce the piston to cylinder wall clearance. but

- Hi Ulix, Would be interesting to find out if you could sleeve it and bore it back to 1380. HOWEVER! I recall on one of your earlier posts that you sorta, kinda wished that you had stayed much closer

- Knurling is very useful to take up a thou or two, ie a very minor wear deviation from factory specs, and only when everything else in the bore and on the piston is in perfect order, ie you are not re

- I'm not sure what you have it bored to now, but I have a torque plate that correctly centers the correct offset required to get the 1380 bores placed right. It has been used by two different machine
