i would not accept having my piston skirts knurled! it is a short term fix for a long term problem. the knurling will effectivly raise metal up and reduce the piston to cylinder wall clearance. but

Hi Ulix, Would be interesting to find out if you could sleeve it and bore it back to 1380. HOWEVER! I recall on one of your earlier posts that you sorta, kinda wished that you had stayed much closer

Knurling is very useful to take up a thou or two, ie a very minor wear deviation from factory specs, and only when everything else in the bore and on the piston is in perfect order, ie you are not re

I'm not sure what you have it bored to now, but I have a torque plate that correctly centers the correct offset required to get the 1380 bores placed right. It has been used by two different machine
