Hello All, So last night for my own edifacation I unscrewed the jet cover on my old style solexs (with the two screws). I saw four jets two pairs. On one it said 55 and the other I swear said 250? Wa

The top jets are air inlet and the bottom jets are fuel inlet. If you had screwed out the emulsion tube that holds the jet you would find more jets at the bottom. You can change the way mikuni's are

250 air jets are stock according to the parts manual. 160 main fuel jets are also stock at sea level. Those are for 37mm chokes. If you have 34mm chokes you'll want smaller on both (smaller chokes wi

You're right, Brian. I forgot to mention that I'm running 34mm chokes. It pulls cleanly and with no lag or flat spots from 2000 rpm on up. My intent was to build a midrange motor for autocross use. G
