Here's an idle thought. I've never heard of anyone trying to put an MGB engine in a Spitfire. Why not? That 1.8 liter might be a nice bonus to a car that weighs (how much?) less than an MGB. Looking

All my non-British cars have been Toyotas, and I have to say that is a FANTASTIC little engine. I think that is the best 4 cylinder choice for any engine conversion on spit-sized cars. -- Trevor Boic
