Disassembling and reassembling 1/4 elliptic springs is easy. The fun part is getting the dang things off of the car! The spring mounting box is usually full of 40+ years worth of crud and everything

I bought my Bugeye at a used sports car lot called "Sir Lance's Lot" on Commonwealth Avenue in Fullerton in 1968. Not a spot of rust anywhere. My Michigan Spridgets are a whole 'nuther story though.

Sorry, I was referring to the semi-elliptics. I know the 1/4 elliptics never had the pads. Do the 1/4 elliptics actually move??? ;) Bud And 14 layers of Teflon would raise the car how much??
