I bet on B. You could take out the battery, take it to a Schucks/AutoZone/Napa... and they will charge and load test it for you. Then you'll know for sure. You could also swap the battery of the Civi

I don't remember what year Midget you have, but I'd bet you have an alternator, rather than a generator. An alternator will not charge a flat battery unless you drive for many hours at a continuous
