- It sounds like your fuel system is suffering from incontinence, and dribbling fuel into the manifold/induction chambers. Check float levels and generally overhaul the carbs. Good luck, Julian.

- Sometimes the heat from the exhaust manifold will cause the gasoline in the carbs to evaporate after you've parked the car. When restarting you have to crank for awhile to pump fuel to the carbs. One
