I need to make a new manifold for my fuell injected Midget... I have 2 choices... modify a Stromberg manifold or create a new one... To use the Stromberg, I just need to create the 'holes' for the i

I'm not sure aluminum is better, except for weight savings, and aluminum transfers more heat from the exhaust. Aluminum was probably used originally because it is easier and cheaper to cast the compl

Aluminum is lighter and can be cast easily? I would be interested in hearing about your injected Midget. What are you using for controls etc? Thanks, J

If you were doing an A Series motor I would suggest you get a single SU intake and run a single throttle body type injector. The Siamese ports on the A make things funky for injection. But, since you

Good custom manifolds may take a few iterations. I've made three different adaptors to join various SU carbs to the turbocharger. Steel does the trick, easy to weld, easy to find and afford, easy to

Take a look at this: http://www.teglerizer.com/fi/GT6_manifold/ms_gt6_manifold.html It was made for a GT6, but the principles are the same for the 1500. -=Chris Chris King http://home.comcast.net/~kv
