If you can't find one let me know and I can maybe whip something up using an old, basket case steering wheel for a hub. Which Grant are you looking at?

You can do like I did Larry. Make an adapter out of 1/4 inch plate to convert a 3 hole Grant wheel adapter. Works great and was easy to make (with access to lathe of course!). steering wheel on a Bug

That's a spacer to move the wheel closer to you. I'm not sure that's a good thing in a Sprite. They're good in Honda's for making more leg room between the wheel and the pedals. BZ

Bugeye steering wheels have a good dish, something like 2-3". Most Grant and Momo style wheels have little or no dish. So, a 2" adapter/spacer would bring you back where you started if you choose the

You tried a welder? I turned an old Bugeye wheel down and now I have a Bugeye hub blank, but I'm sure the supply of broken Bugeye wheels with good splines is limited. Cheers, Derf

Oh sure you can cut down a column and shorten it by welding it back together but out right swapping of steering columns from side curtain cars to anything else is not a direct drop in. Different sign

You're probably right. A Bugeye wouldn't be a Bugeye without a two spoke wheel. I wonder if a later column would interchange.

For the record, '68-'70 steering wheels will fit side curtain cars. '65-'67 is different, but then they went back to the original splines. '68 to'70 wheels don't have horn buttons though. BZ

Some of the Triumphs do use the same 36 spline configuration as the MKI and MKII Sprites and MKI Midgets, however, there are differences that need to be dealt with when attempting to interchange hubs
