- Has anyone rebuilding the steering rack replaced the small nylon "rack tube plug"? I ordered one from Vicky Brit, but it is too small for the hole in the steering rack. What is that hole for anyway?

- Hi Mike, I believe the plug is to alleviate vibrations that can occur in the steering. You can make your own plug using any semi-hard plastic (nylon is the original material) that doesn't become brit
