I've got this same problem with 1st gear, and I recently had the tranny rebuilt (just for cost of parts, long story, so don't tell me to take it back to the guy). I'd be interested in any solution. N

My ribcase stuck in 1st, twice! Both times the only way was to pull the engine and gearbox and part dismantle. Bit of a troublesome way to change gear! The cause was the selector fork, being worn, a
